Underground & Open Pit Dewatering

Mine Dewatering lowers the water table around the mine/quarry. The process is necessary to ensure wall stability of the mine during & after excavation, and to prevent flooding.

Pexgol Pipe offers a best in class solution for Dewatering. Made of a unique formation of cross-linked polyethylene, Pexgol Pipes are resistant to Creep, Slow-Crack Growth (SCG), Corrosion, Impact and Low & High Temperatures.

PEX-A Pipes are also highly strain resistant and extremely flexible, preventing failure due to water hammer.

Dewatering Made Easy

Coils allow a line to be easily deployed with minimal joints and use the flexibility of the pipe to easily install in an underground environment. As well, mechanical joints can be used in a cost-effective way by reducing the number of connections, further reducing installation time.

Pexgol pipes can be supplied in long-length coils (up to 14” diameter) or sticks (up to 28” diameter), making them a fantastic solution for dewatering lines.

Advantages of PEX-A in Dewatering
  • Excellent ESCR (Environmental Stress Cracking Resistance)
  • Exceptional Creep Resistance
  • Impervious to scratches & stone impingement
  • Sedimentation Free
  • UV Resistant, even if exposed to sunlight.
